Robert Johnson has been captivated by aviation for as long as he can remember, even as his early professional path began in the automotive industry. In 2011, he earned his A&P certificate, a pivotal milestone that allowed him to fully pursue the aviation career he had long envisioned.
From 2013 to 2026, Johnson built a distinguished tenure at Textron Aviation. He began as an aircraft mechanic while completing his business degree, later advancing into leadership as a Senior Customer Service Manager. His commitment to excellence and customer advocacy earned him national recognition as an NBAA Top 40 Under 40 honoree in 2022. He then transitioned into Aftermarket Sales, where he was named Aftermarket Sales Manager of the Year in 2024—further solidifying his reputation as a results‑driven leader with a deep understanding of both technical operations and customer strategy.
Johnson values business aviation not only for the aircraft themselves, but for the essential role they play as business tools that keep organizations moving. What resonates with him most is the personal nature of the industry—an environment where trust, relationships, and service excellence define success.
As CEO of JAMS, Johnson serves as the strategic and relational bridge between aircraft owners and the MRO.
